The PR impact for dems will not just be bad. It will be apocalyptic. Their support will completely collapse once people realized that they not only arrested an ex-president on bogus charges, they violated his rights in the process.

The flaw in your argument is that you assume democrats care about fairness. They already know it’s bs if they were intellectually honest. They can see the double standards. They just don’t care ends justify The means literally their mantra
