I have the occasion to look up a subject from med journals to 'teach' my doctor as to why I'm on a certain medication. As I read various studies I can see some clinical trials were not conducted properly. I used to work at a large university school of medicine where all residents had to conduct a Human Use study through the NIH approval. I saw those studies from original abstract to completion and publication. If I can see the discrepancies in the published trials, why can't the doctors reading the journal? They just don't think anymore.
