Three Bills, SB5082, SB5770 and HB1389. From a Real Estate perspective, the first one hides the tax increases from voters, second Bill is to overturn voters' passed law to limit property tax increases to 1% so they can increase what ever they want and the last, House Bill1389, limits the rent increases that a landlord can make per year to inflation. So in the end no one is going to know about the tax increases, they could be limitless and then not be able to pass on the increases to renters, thereby forcing landlords to throw up their hands, sell their portfolios and force people to find other places to live which will be decreasing. Guess there's not enough homeless yet or there's not enough housing for the illegals coming into the area. Makes you think... they get them emptied and then subsidize them for the illegals while the tax paying voters cover the bill.

There'll be a lot of homeowners surprised the next time they get their property tax bills.
What a vicious circle these politicians are making.
