It's been years since I've lived around the Houston area, but back then it wasn't like it is now. I went for a visit about six months ago, and was sad to see it looked about like Austin. I live about an hour and a half away from Austin now, and I cringe anytime I have to go to Austin. My small town is a safe haven away from the woke BS of Austin.
