Sadly yes. Russians use drones and satellites to spot for their artillery with pinpoint accuracy. The Ukies learned the hard way that once they get within range, they have to keep their vehicles moving. If they stop, the Russians will target them and destroy them. It's almost amusing to see them doing donuts in fields because they know that if they stop, they're hosed.
The Leopard 2 is a world-class tank for sure. It has some modern defensive countermeasures as well, but when they're talking about moving such small numbers of these with infantry that they're conscripting/kidnapping off the street at gunpoint, this is just a recipe for bigger casualty figures.
