Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

I don't know what version of the Bible you have but I have a KJV. It is also online if you look it up. You may have bought a misprinted Bible. I would suggest that you may want to go get a new one at a Bible/Christian Bookstore. You must have the English Standard Version as it also skips that verse. I hadn't noticed it before as my husband just pulled out my Bible version of ESV. That was the first Bible I read through. I am now almost finished with the KJV. Then I will move to another version of the Bible.

Good luck on your endeavors as once you read God's word all the way through , then you may want to try different versions as I have. God bless and hope this helps.
