You want to see something crazy, look at the numbers for Newfoundland and Labrador. The provincial government is THE LARGEST EMPLOYER. We have the biggest civil service in Canada (bigger than Ontario or Quebec), with a population of just over 520,000.

And they all got massive wages during the Covid debacle, whilst the poor non-government pleb got fired. The rest of the money supports Pharma, Ukraine and Refugees.
