Alot of the "altrighters" came from a bunch of young guys who voted for Obama for change and hated Bush and McCain. Were fine with gays being gay as it didn't spill into their lives. Hated that Wall St. got bailed out.
Then things got weird and media started overtly saying how all whites were evil and racist, it's better to be gay and let your kids join in, and the flip began.
Seems like all these buzzwords were coined after the "modernization" of propagandizing the public
I identify with that.
Likewise, was young, hopeful, got duped. Trump won me over because of his praise for Christ and the Lord, and the mighty mighty trolling too. Eyes WIDE TF open now
I would agree, especially since I could have been described as center left growing up. However, I don't identify as "alt-right" due to being a Bible believing Christian. A single-line spectrum like left vs. right is laughably reductive compared to the hyper-dimensional reality that is human thought and philosophy. Not to mention, even IF you use spectrums to organize things, you'd want to be centered on every one so as to avoid overreaction and stick to the truth.
Pretty much
This is concise and astute. Many people "radicalized" simply by staying the way they were and being vocal about lines they don't want to cross. The crime of being loud enough to interfere with the divide and conquer strategy used against themselves, their friends, and their neighbours.
It's a damned if you do damned if you don't. If you don't, you get swept up, if you do you get to play the heel for a mob that won't look up.
