A corporation can sue an ex-employee. Defamation would be one of the reasons, but I suspect that a company would only do this as a countersuit if the employee sued them.

RFK JR just tweeted that Big Pharma likely ordered FOX to pull the plug on Tucker or they take all thier money and go.
