I was thinking about tortured souls yesterday, how truly great musicians play beautifully because of what they had to endure.

I don’t really want to guess but my theory would be a couple things: 1: prolonged torture/sacrifice. To a level the population need not know. 2: tainted food supplies (sacrificed people were distributed through the food chain and the average human has consumed as an unknowing cannibal)—this is a dark thought but something i truly don’t think the public could/should handle.
