The disappointing part is how libs swallow the bait so easily. These people grew up in the same country I did and they support censorship of political opinions.
I'm at -5 right now on a r-conspiracy thread where I responded to each of the soundbites in turn. I'll paste it below for funsies:
"I think that the country deserves to have a credible assessment of these claims and what the evidence shows and the mechanism to try to force that is denying certification on the sixth."
No, Ari, this isn't scheming to steal an election. He's saying that claims have been made and have not been investigated in an appropriate forum, and to ensure confidence in our electoral process, we should do our due diligence in Congress and hold off on inauguration until that's done.
"It would be the results of that commission and what they find and if they found credible evidence of fraud that undermines confidence in the electoral results in any given state they would report on that."
No, Ari, this isn't scheming to steal an election. He's saying that if the commission found credible evidence of fraud, they would report on that. Report on that. Not install Trump as a dictator.
"As we were looking at this January 6 certification, all of the options that were being discussed were problematic. And [and] so I wanted to find a path that was consistent with the Constitution and the law, and that address these very real serious claims."
No, Ari, this isn't scheming to steal an election. He's saying that, in a wholly lawful manner, he wanted to address these claims, again, to bolster confidence in our electoral process.

It's partisan hacks like this that are the reason that half the country thinks our electoral process is wholly fraudulent (because you were an insurrectionist if you lent any credence to the claims of widespread fraud), and the other half (that won) thinks it's infallibly secure because their guy won, and don't you dare question it (because shutting people up is essential to a healthy democracy).
So the deep state is once again trying to punish someone for having an OPINION that disagrees with their narrative.

Those comments. Wow. As always the projection from the Left is on point.
They REALLY didn't want anyone looking at the votes. Even talking about was treason in thier minds.
