I bank at PNC. At one point in time there were 2 different branches within a 5 minute drive of my house. They shut 1 down during the plandemic. It was silly having both of those branches. Chase has 2 branches which are even closer together than PNC's were. I'm sure 1 of them will eventually close. I'm not too concerned about this announcement. They merged with another bank and there are probably multiple areas that have branches too close together to make good business sense.
