When you know if I kill 1 person or 10 or 100 or even 100 million and only I am responsible and get in trouble, then who cares. But if you know if a family member of does that and you and yours get roped up also then you will make sure I get stoped when you know it’s going on. The sins of the father should not fall upon the son, but abilities like this were not around back then.
