H.R. 2884 aka the "Covfefe Act of 2017" Communications Over Various Feeds Electronically for Engagement act was a bill introduced by Mike Quigley which sought to amend section 2201 of title 44 to make it a violation of the Presidential Records act for the Potus to delete Tweets. 2 weeks before the bill was introduced Trump made his Covefe tweet and deleted it minutes later.
