Originally the Federal Bureau of INVESTIGATION was supposedly created to be a domestic intelligence gathering unit only.
Originally the Central INTELLIGENCE Agency was supposedly created to be foreign intelligence gathering unit only.
Why was the FBI necessary when we already had the U.S. Marshals?
Why was the CIA necessary when we already had Military Intelligence?
Then they each quietly became ARMED enforcers....
