The inner skin of the prepuce and the surface of the glans is of a similar type of tissue as vaginal walls. They keep lubricated to facilitate a man’s bond with his wife. The fold of skin prevents a calloused glans from “shoveling” out lubricative fluids produced during sex. The texture of the inner foreskin interfaces with the texture of vaginal walls. The hood protects the glans from overstimulation and becoming calloused. It protects the urethral opening from dirt and other infectants as well as stops your coronal ridge from constantly rubbing against your clothing. “Ribbed for her pleasure” condoms attempt to recreate a facsimile of what an intact penis should feel like to a woman. The fine sensory nature of these nerves can communicate the same amount of information as your fingertips.
Smegma is a naturally occurring thing, even women accumulate skin cells around their genitals. This is not a need to amputate humans. The proposed health benefits of circumcision have ranged from preventing prostate cancer, stopping bed wetting, stopping masturbation, and more ridiculous to things you can tell have clearly never been prevented by this. The study showing a reduction in STDs was conducted in Africa but never had its findings reproduced in a country that had adequate sexual health education and large enough test groups of both populations to peer review this.
At birth the glans penis is strictly an internal organ as the inner foreskin is fused to it, as firmly as a fingernail . Attempting to uncover a glans in this state is violent. It requires a metal probing rod to detach the prepuce from the glans before it can be removed. The glans naturally remains covered until a child reaches puberty. Without consent this is considered sexual violence with a foreign object.
The risk of an infected circumcision wound in a feces and urine soaked diaper is higher than the risk of a UTI in an intact infant with caring parents who know hygiene.
The risk of penile cancer is so small you would have to deny 300,000 men the full spectrum of their sexual functions that God gave them from birth to prevent one case. Even then humans get testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and all manner of other things at an alarming rate our due to things CDC is not concerned about.
There are many men who are upset with what has happened to them and they are not taken seriously all. Their sexual trauma of the realization that an absolute stranger both invaded their bodies by force with a foreign object and then removed it is real.
It’s part of you for only you and your wife and a complete stranger clipped one of the best parts of it off to meet an outdated hygiene and aesthetic standard instead of trusting you’d be able to wash your wiener when you shower. Like you’re some kind of farm creature or livestock that can’t be trusted to take care of itself.
I just think it should be on the radar too is all. Because this country does more to defend these things than protect men against them and men who have had very unsatisfactory results due to this unnecessary procedure are not taken seriously, and even ridiculed for being unhappy with what was forced on them.
And listen to the screams before anesthesia was a thing… they’ve been happening for thousands of years. Anyone making a scream like that is being tortured - even if they don’t remember. And we live in a world where mothers giggle at how exhausted their newborns are after screaming themselves unconscious.
as I have said, I believe the benefits outweigh what you have listed.
doctors and parents both do things that might feel like a violation. they take you out of your mothers privates and then immediately begin to inspect yours. you could make that sound obscene too, if you were so inclined. but its just practical. the baby generally screams regardless.
there are all sorts of issues you can have with your parents decisions. I have mine, but that's not one of them!
I'm not saying the issue is beyond revisiting. I'm open to further discussion. but its not what you're making it out to be. we have bigger fish to fry, and you don't make your case by attacking anons for normal shit. trans surgery is abominable, as is clitoral mutilation. circumcision is just tidying up. if the negative effects are less sensitivity, less smegma, crying babies, and hurt feelings, i definitely feel like its worth it. but of course its up to each parent to decide for their own children.
thanks for allowing anons here to have varying opinions. i have some of the most controversial. but in the end, we're all working towards the same goals. of course i admire your respect for personal sovereignty. but we are all ultimately sovereign, and by being born into this world, we have chosen to experience the illusion of being subject to it.
that's not meant to justify anything. the existence of heaven doesn't make murder a moral act. ...but it does mean that its all okay. there's nothing serious going on here. we're in it for the earth experience, which can mean a lot of pain and death and injustice, but in the end its all okay. and in the meantime, we just try to make the experience as pleasant as we can for us and our loved ones.
many idiots on the left might say something similar. and hopefully they would change their minds about trans surgery when they were made aware of the realities of it.
I'm open to changing my mind if new info is presented. but as a 'victim' myself, the reality of circumcision doesn't seem very horrific. I mean unless all the negative aspects of my life are a direct result of that procedure! but I don't think so.
thanks. i hate fighting with anons, but i do like working through these things. i could be wrong. i'm sorry i don't think its a bigger deal lol. but its probably good someone does
The procedure itself has in recent times yielded looser and preciser results but even so there is a minute mortality rate, as well as a rate of highly undesirable results like skin bridges uneven scarring, and painful erections. In my heart, any mortality rate is unacceptable for a procedure that is ultimately unnecessary and influenced by opinion and preferences. In classical fashion the worst of these is buried by yours truly the orchestrators of every insipid Covid protocol that has killed who knows how many.
The true “horror” sets in when I see the men this has hurt, how they are ignored, and how they have had to watch this become commodified and their pain minimized. It feels like a glimpse of things to come from these medical tyrants who want chips, dots, bots and who knows what else in our bodies. The fact that a largely cosmetic procedure is routinely performed on human being’s most personal anatomy despite its risks is to me a threshold crossed for things that are not as readily visible, felt, reversible, and personal to be introduced into the population with little resistance. Particularly because so many see no problem with something this much more obviously invasive on an infant.
Odious fears. I have no doubt in a highly technological future for our species but in our current state I don’t trust the hands that technology is in.
Thanks for being open to conversation with someone as adamant as me, and giving me space to vent. Odd place for it, but the idea of our infernal entertainment industry rejuvenating their faces with the bodies of infants needs to go with the rest of this old system while the bigger fish are being fried. That is my prayer anyways. Thank you.

you've reminded me of the functions. I'm aware.

You’ve been a lot more patient with me than I you. Thank you for setting this example.
