My mother just went to her doc for a regular visit. The doc asked her how the family is doing, so she decided to ask him the same. He made rare direct eye contact with my mom and said "We're okay".
"Oh, did you have a rough time with Covid?" She asked?
Doc: "We all got it, but were okay. But I'll tell you, I am so glad I did not get my kids vaccinated. There are so many people out there suffering right now from it"
Mom: "Oh. My son (my brother) refused to get his kids vaccinated and only got it himself to keep his job. My other son (me) outright refused to get it."
Doc: "Congratulations, your sons are well read. They don't follow the sheep".
I asked her if she was serious and if he had actually used those words. She said yes.
After 2 years of my trying to convince my mother not to get the vax, in vain, this doctor finally nailed the point home to her.
I must say.. it felt damn good to hear it.
Progress.
On another note, all the boomers in my family (all vaxxed) now firmly believe "we" were duped. No offense intended to baby boomers, that just so happens to be who this millennial has been spending most of his time around lately. I know being awake knows no generational boundaries and it has more to do with the person than their age. The ones in my family just so happened to all buy into the brainwashing campaign.
Cheers frens.
I am a boomer and I refused the vax so I wish you guys would stop making it sound like boomers are stupid.
Me too. Every unvaccinated person I know is a boomer. I am counting 6 myself included.
IMO the typical "sheep" was a younger person that was required to do it for some reason.
Boomers didn't face these requirements.
This is true, however the fear campaign was most intensely targeted at those 65 and older in my opinion. They really made it sound like if you were a senior and got the Coof you were a goner. Fear is a powerful thing and most of the seniors I know were scared shitless by the endless barrage of fear porn. Nothing I said or showed them could penetrate the mass formation psychosis.
