My mom LOVED that show when I was younger. They renovated house so when my Dad worked on the electrical my Mom would wake us up and say “it’s a little house on the prairie kind of day!” and it was all cooking on charcoal outside and playing outside, making crafts or reading. Card game by candle lights at night even if the power could come back on. Which may not sound like much but we lived in a big city and everyone else has power buzzing. I thank her for it now and she does the same practices with my nephew. Now I know it’s because she was prepping us for if the power ever goes out and stays out. We won’t be the first to lose our minds when we lose technology.

Thats a valuable skill to have. God bless your mom for giving you those memories.
