They should have just said "April Fools! We got you. Haha!" even if that was a lie. Trans Day of Visibility is March 31, it's super convenient so if people have a bad reaction, just say "April Fools," and go back in the closet.

While I was searching to establish a start time (Sat Apr 01 23:31:57 GMT 2023 on p.win) I found other posts. They've been doing this for a while. Here, the can provides pronouns in August 2022. https://patriots.win/p/15JAJbLv07/go-woke-go-broke-bud-light-with-/c/
