That sounds really good. It's a good idea if you get out there and mingle and make funny or insightful comments, especially on new or sticky posts. Your handshake status lifting is dependent on getting some comment upvotes.

Be polite and respectful and avoid racebaiting or dooming or getting in fights, especially with mods. We have to have a test before joining the mod team to make sure that we have absolutely no sense of humour.
