Okay so I’m in this little town in New Mexico, Deming. I was just looking around the internet because I’m supposed to be here for a month but I didn’t realize the migrant surge is happening next weekend. Apparently, on MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND 2019, the city opened up an old airplane hangar to house migrants costing the city 15K a day. This is one of the smallest and poorest cities in the state. There is hardly anything here. I’m like driving around wondering how this city survives honestly. You go south a few miles to the state park and all around it there are these small what look like homeless shelter style houses. They are definitely not up to code.

Well the airplane hangar is empty. I saw it the other day driving to one of the only thrift stores in town. It’s literally across the street from the airplane hangar they used to house those illegals. I think they are preparing to clothe and provide support to these people because the lady at the counter said they’d only been there for two years..since biden got in and they knew there was going to be an end to Title 42.

Anyways, I saw an article talking about giving hundreds of millions to cities for helping migrants and I think that’s what this city is planning for. There’s probably more to it but I haven’t put all the pieces together yet. It’s just crazy that next weekend will also be Mother’s Day weekend and that’s when they came last time. I don’t want to be here for that in case all hell breaks loose but I wanted to stay here to look for a job since I’m living in my van full time. I don’t really have the funds to leave the campground but I also don’t want to get caught up in all the migrant bs. However I am slightly intrigued at the same time.. There’s something VERY fishy afoot here.
