Is this candle indicative of the Holy Eucharist? The article doesn’t specify but in general a candle in a Catholic chapel indicates that Jesus is present in the Eucharist for adoration. Which would be wonderful to have in a hospital!
Also, the article initially claims that the candle needs to be extinguished because of its explicitly religious nature, but then makes claims that it’s due to a fire code issue. If it’s simply a matter of fire code, the candle can be replaced by a light, if I’m not mistaken, like a flickering led candle. Which would still be a shame but I’ve seen those in place of devotional candles many times. But if it’s over religious expression they can go kick rocks.
ENOUGH You Ridiculous idiots. I just can't pray for the souls of this enemy any more. I know we are instructed to forgive 70X7= always. I will be praying for God to forgive me for my judgemental heart.
They just can’t wait to get to Hell.

Absolutely "symbolism" as well as a message.
