Because they need the optics. Did any fake news suggest wHItE SupRimesiStS (patriot front) where going to attack the police to free "their guy" from the two officers of collor? [Gthey] have to love that picture too... white guy soldier in cuffs escorted by law enforcement minorities... it's all the desired confusion and destruction in one picture.
