I was listening to something about the John Birch Society being the face of an ideology of some guy, but only PARTIALLY did they disclose what they were about. The tenets of the ideology that wouldn't have pleased the public were kept secret and only a few men understood the entire purpose of the ideology. It was stuff the people on this board wouldn't be down with. It was essentially another case of the banker's playing both sides or heading off the opposition by leading the movement themselves. We're all familiar with this tactic. I'm so mad at myself for not saving the information I'm referring to and I'm having a hard time pulling anything up at the moment.
