I think Desantis may be necessary in order to legitimize DJT's GOP nominations. he might even have been encouraged by 45. If Trump got it without a real strong candidate running against him many sheep, who want another candidate on the right, might not vote at all. This will open many eyes that he is the one and only legitimate candidate and drive the largest republican voting turnout in history.

Weeds are simply plants that we don't want.
Indeed, and often out of ignorance (or brainwashing/inherited brainwashing)...prime example: dandelions.
I am suspecting that that was in the long range plan to have us eliminate nutritious plants from our yards. Dandelions were very helpful during the great depression to help keep people from starving. And they are one of the most nutritious plants that God has given us.
Also Dandelion extract has been found to have numerous health benefits.
