It's incumbent on the OP to back up such an assertion, not on the readers to go off randomly searching for supporting data. Personally, I suspect the assertion is either true or at least partly true, but it is OP's obligation to give supporting data to any assertion he/she makes. That is how critical thinking works: Assertion, backed up by sources, allowing readers to understand the OP's point.
