My adult brother has been battling constant headaches for almost 16 years. He has seen every specialist and been on all kinds of meds. He’s even had nerve endings cut in the back of his head in the hopes it would help.
It’s a constant pressure/pain all over his head but mainly in the back.
Would appreciate any advice/opinions. After the past few years, I am looking at the medical industrial complex very differently and wondering if there are better options we haven’t explored.
He is desperate. He is married with two adorable little boys and he wants to be a happy, present father for them. The headache never goes away. Some days, it’s bearable and others he is absolutely miserable.
Breaks my heart to see it.
I have been on this board for years now and you have kept my spirits up through all the nonsense around us. I have never posted anything like this, but I trust you all to be there.
Thank you. ❤️
It seems he is already receiving lots of western medical advice & treatments. Frankly, I am surprised his doctors aren’t making “other” suggestions. They always seem to, when they get burnt out because they can’t “fix” the condition. If the cause of the pain is from some sort of injury to his back, there might not be a resolution. But you don’t provide that information.
Maybe it’s time to try outside the western medicine box. A naturopath? Diet changes or acupuncture. Don’t forget faith. Sometimes an illness or injury can be healed by a strong faith practice & faith community.
I am not a medical doctor & this post is not medical advice.
