I don't know why articles like this even need to be written. More leftist woman BS. Why do we think we need someone, anyone to tell us how to be a family except God? I raised one kid thru a divorce and two thru the death my husband. My son was 16. I never considered "pulling back" from my responsibilities to any of the kids. My son is definitely a man. IE: He bought and installed a new water softner for my house for mothers day. He is currently remodeling the bathroom in his rental (he is 29). I don't think he would ever eat soy. Peer pressure sucks and we need to avoid it in raising kids. We need to teach our kids, boys or girls, how to deal with it. Setting reasonable expectations as to family behaviors is first and foremost. Then allowing kids to make mistakes while enforcing consistant rewards and punishments goes a long way. Nothing against the idea of this article but the execution is pure leftist. And you're right our boys have been feminized for years. I say boys are different then girls, men are different then women. Women have had way too much cultural influence in their efforts to compete with men and its has definitely been detrimental to all kids. All kids need their fathers, women think they don't and they can be the man in a boys life, no, they can only be the mother. Period. Don't ask how woman can been men, they can't. Its very simple, sorry firvanothe long rant.
