Dude, it was real but let me clarify what I mean by "real". My dad almost died to it but he was able to recover. My mom and brother got it as well but didn't suffer as badly as my dad did. I was in proximity to everyone of my family members who got sick but I didn't get sick. Statements like these saying "c19 isn't real" is what makes us look bad lol. It was real but was it this deadly virus that was going to kill everyone, far from it. The statements people made saying that the unhealthy, old, or obese are the ones more susceptible to getting it was true. My dad already had health complications to begin with(hes not fat, has kidney and blood pressure issues), my brother since I've known him always gets sick easily so when c19 came he got sick and it kicked him pretty hard. My mom is old but eats healthy and excersises so to her it just seemed like a common cold. I hardly ever get sick, so nothing happened to me. Now, do we know what made people sick? Was it just another case of a bad flu season and they just passed it off as a new virus? Maybe. Did they mess with our food and water supply to get people sick that way? Maybe. Was it actually a new virus? Maybe. We don't know what actually caused people to get sick but people did get sick, that's a fact. Last thing, I'm pretty sure but don't quote me on this, but we have never isolated any virus that we know of. Most examples of what a virus looks like is based on what they imagine it would look like. So to expect them to isolate it will never happen. There's a big rabbit hole when it comes to viruses lol. TLDR, people did get sick but we don't know from what though.
