Same...I was about 15 miles to the south of DC in VA, was standing next to an open door and heard the two back to back BOOMS, shook the entire house and rattled all of the glassware in cupboards.
I have heard/experienced sonic booms in the past, and they were more about hearing than feeling...Sunday afternoon's phenomena reminded me of two somewhat muffled explosions, sort of coming from overhead. The ground shaking was the most unnverving part.
We have had people in the field next to us blow up refrigerators and dryers that have shook the house and rattled the windows and when I hear explosions I usually wonder what they are doing next door now. LOL
