Lol you're right, it's the conspiracy version of "we wuz kangz!"

We was gods until the cabal hid it away from us! It actually perfectly matches the story in Eden, except God would be the cabal and Satan is causing the new age "awakening".

Awakening is a good thing. Don't let dogma use the pejorative "New Age" in order to scare you away from God.
