The RIDICULOUS lying that the media does claims an inflation rate that is only 13% or something similar, and ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT reflect the inflation seen today!
I just put in 7 gallons of gas and it was over $42.00. Three years ago it would have been under $14.00.
The cost of EVERYTHING is way, way up.
Everything I buy is nearly 1.5 or 2.0 x or more than what it was 3 years ago, including the cost of grocery items, restaurant prices, appliance parts, auto parts, and especially real estate in my area.
