Reporters were in the courtroom. They just weren't allowed to bring in laptops or cellphones. There was a lottery to see which reporters got in and which watched on video

The top judge for the US District Court of the Southern District of Florida on Monday ruled that journalists covering former President Donald Trump’s arraignment in Miami on Tuesday may not bring cell phones into the courtroom.

He was absolutely arrested. I never said he was cuffed, because he was not cuffed. The courtroom sketches of him appearing before judge are out. (Federal courts don't allow cameras)
