After getting past the Secret Service all over the building, that is. For that matter, did the agents raiding MaL have a security clearance to see those supposed classified documents, sitting behind lock and key, without Trump's lawyer present? What? No? Arrest them all!

Compare this scenario, with boxes sitting in Joe's garage, while Hunter and a Chinese spy were able to just walk in and have a butcher's. From all accounts, Hunter made millions using such information - but that is speculation still. The issue is that those particular boxes were NOT secure, and there is the small matter that Veeps do not have the power to take those papers and put them in an unsecured place.
