It's amazing to me with how fucking wildly despotic the U.S. government has become, and such a long history of attempts at confiscation, Americans have pretty much only doubled down, whereas other countries like the UK in the 1960s, and more recently Australia & New Zealand, have been disarmed.
I would have to believe that may have had something to do with why the U.S. had relatively lighter restrictions the past 3 years compared to a lot of places (Europe, Asia, India, all had it very bad with mandates).
