I drive a 25 year old car. Change my own oil, other fluids. filters, etc., and rotate my own tires.
I have a great, patriotic "country" mechanic for the stuff that requires a lift or better dexterity than I have.
209,000 miles and I will keep driving it as long as possible.
Dwell meters, feeler gauges and mechanical timing.
Old School!!!
That's the thing, those cars last a lot longer than the new ones. I would keep it.
If I could own a car, I wouldn't mind having a classic like a 1963 Volkswagon beetle.
Hope you don't like heat in the winter! 😄
That's going to be hard to find. Many people like Volks.
Treat them right, give them the love they deserve, and you'll get home together every time.
Amen to the treat them right.
