Luciferase is a naturally occurring enzyme. It is spliced into big protein molecules to act as a marker because it glows on its own, without batteries, otherwise those big proteins are featureless blobs and biologists have a hard time figuring out where to dice and splice them. And this has been going on for years. And the root of the word "lucifer" is "lux" which means light, there is nothing Satanic about it. Unless you think Satan managed to create something on his own, because it has always been in lightning bugs and jellyfish.
You missed the entire point. Read the big words to the left.
I read them. And I understand all of them. Luciferase is in a lot of biochemical processes. It's just a descriptive name. The devil doesn't really advertise.
