💯I agree. I live very close to an Amish community about 50 miles from where this happened. The Amish are very careful. They have slow moving vehicle reflectors and everything. I live within a 1/4 of a village limit on a corner. The corner has had so many accidents and deaths, that its on the counties most dangerous corners list. People don't care about anyone but themselves, they are in a hurry and inattentive. I think its another symptom of entitlement.
This! I've lived in two Amish communities for over 15 years now. People drive too fast and are not paying attention. People pass when they shouldn't and are generally reckless. I jog and most people pass me going way too fast and too close. Also although not the case with thie accident referenced, Amish children start driving carts very young, in the yard and even on the roads. Many, imo, shouldn't be driving on the roads. Many Amish drivers also let the horses drive and are dealing with kids in the back, which also often cause accidents.
