I grew up in a hockey family. It has been part of our lives and daily conversations for decades. We still support youth hockey. Most of our children, boys and girls, play it on through to college. But I cant think of any in my large extended family that gives a crap about the NHL any longer.
I have now given up my season tickets for Michigan football and hockey (Im an alum from a family who sent all their kids to UM for many generations) and the Red Wings. This is a hockey thread but I no longer have Lions season tickets either. I do miss it, less so as time passes, but I wont ever go back.
Me neither. I have nothing against Black people but when I watched a game during the BLM riots and it says "We Play for Black People" around the rink...... clear they want to divide us and are doing as their masters tell them.
I have season tickets to an NHL team. For the most part they do a decent job. First thing I do when the schedule comes out is find pride night and sell the tickets.
But, I understand what you are saying. If my oldest son wasn't such a hockey fanatic we wouldn't have season tickets.
no they always wear official jeeseys in games. not in warm ups , bur they cam still make and sell the jersey and players can wear if they like off the ice.
be we all know there isnt money in selling them so my guess is they disappear over time.
You’re not going to stop all of the goofball behaviour, and I don’t think we even should be trying to. But the line is being drawn where it should be, not forcing people to participate, or allowing these radicals to hijack the game or pregame for their politics.
All of this anger against the jersey started with a Russian player named Provorov on Philly. Then it snowballed.
Russians seem to have it right lately.
Next step get rid of pride night entirely.
NHL can not afford to lose viewers through the US.

Lol "We play for black people" there are like 5 total black players in the NHL. And they're all deathly afraid of drowning if the ice melts.

NHL: We really need your money. [They] don't care for hockey like [they] do football. Please don't leave.
good analysis :)
so not in warm-ups, is that their loophole to keep it in for games?
