Who else is using Michigan ground water? Oh looky there...
The state's largest groundwater extractor β by far β is ππΌPfizer's pharmaceutical manufacturing operation near Kalamazooπ, at more than 6.9 billion gallons in 2015, according to DEQ data. That annual groundwater withdrawal exceeds the total water volume of Orchard Lake in Oakland County, or Wayne County's Belleville Lake.
Before this it was melting glaciers

Always our fault.
Betcha I know one aquifer that hasn't been drained, the Guarani Aquifer. Wonder if it was damaged by the earthquake.π€ Oh, and it's also over natural gas reserves.
Looks like the Bush's acquired the land around 2006.

The land, near the town of Chaco,Β sits atop huge natural gas reserves, according to sources in Asuncion.
Well, this is interesting.
Moreover, the land deal was consummated in a dinner meeting between Bush's daughter Jenna and Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte.
Although Jenna, who was in Paraguay under the cover of a 10-day UNICEF trip to visit child welfare projects, put the Bush family seal of approval on the land deal, the actual legal papers were worked out by Bush family lawyers and business representatives. Jenna Bush is supposedly working for UNICEF in Panama City.
UNICEF, eh?

I really do think they are trying to keep us in fear/panic while consolidating assets.
WE SEE YOU! π
Yeah there are some mind blowing claims about this stuff. Itβs been a while since I read about it last but here is another link.

You're right, they do make some rather outlandish claims with very little sauce. It's still, as Spock would say, "Fascinating!".
There were rumors going round that black goo was what the Falkland war in 1982 was all about.
I remember nearing about the Falkland war, but wasn't paying much attention to world events at the time as I was newly married and we were trying to move out of my parent's house and into our first apartment. Never heard about the black goo stuff back then, especially in regards to the war.
