That's a bit silly.

How was that someone trying to connect to the TV?

Over wifi? Then your wifi is compromised, maybe your password shouldn't be 'password'.

Over bluetooth? A couple of issues there. One, bluetooth is short range. Two, turn the damn thing off, it's useless anyway. Use wires for audio.

I suspect Climate Change. Or maybe Putin.

Came here to say that if the stupid TV has bluetooth discovery on 1) she should have turned it off a long time ago and 2) anyone can "try" to connect to it which will likely turn the tube on. This is a nothing burger
