Hijacking one of the top comments to remind everybody about back In February of 21 when the Democrats tried to push legislation for Congress to get the nuclear football under the guise of getting it from Biden but really it was a sideways play to try to get it back from Trump.

This is pretty strong supporting evidence for them attempting to regain control of it without admitting that the Biden administration didn't actually have it.
