Why hasn't it been a big story that LA has had record cool temperatures in 2023?

Shouldn't it be a huge national story that a big city like LA has had a record stretch where it didn't hit 80 degrees in 60 days in May and June? After all, the media always warns us that the earth is getting dangerously ...

We're now into July and it only got warm this past week. For years now we've basically had no spring here in socal. Just dry winters and scorching 95-110F weather beginning in April and lasting until November. We still haven't run our AC yet.
