The trace amounts of PFAS (in MA 20 ppt total of the 6 PFAS they screen for is considered fine to drink, strictest in the country, but I’d prefer to limit my exposure even more) are removed when filtered through charcoal/brita filters.
If you don’t want to purchase water bottles or collect/treat your own rainwater, filtering your water out of the tap could only be a better thing for you
We've used charcoal filters since I was young. I can't remember last time I've had a drink straight from the tap.
