Jesus taught us to love your enemies, as stated in Matthew 5:44. This goes against the current trend of "cancel culture". Colossians 3:13 reminds us to forgive others just as Christ has forgiven us, something that "anti-racism" or "wokeness" doesn't seem to acknowledge. Instead, they tend to perpetuate a cycle of victimhood and blame. Mark 12:31 instructs us to love our neighbor as ourselves, but the definition of "love" according to God's Word is often overlooked by the "woke" crowd. Love, as defined by God, involves self-sacrifice for the good of others (1 Corinthians 13). According to John 14:6, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there is only one Truth, not "my truth" or "your truth". Therefore, it is important for the "woke" crowd to measure their beliefs against the absolute authority of the Word of God to find the Truth that sets us free.

You are taught to love someone so much that you’ll disagree with them. You love them so much you’ll do what you can to stop them from their sin. You’ll love them so much that you’ll go out of your way to save them. Not to love them so much to blindly accept everything they do that is against what God has laid out. Yes Jesus loved every single person no matter what. And in his sacrifice his mind was on everyone that ever was to be. But only though him do you get your salvation. You do not have to change a single thing in yourself to come to him and choose him, but through him, if you’ve truly been saved, you will change all for him.
