I know this isn’t what the platform is used for, but I don’t have many other people I can reach out to.
Does anyone have any research regarding the affects of fluoride on our health? I have shared some of the research I have, but my husband is still skeptical.
Thanks in advance!
I think this is absolutely the platform for this kind of thing. While maybe not Q-specific, this is the type of information propagation integral to the Great Awakening. I've been on board as an anon only fairly recently - and I've only much more recently had enough evidence and integrated it all to conclude that fluoride is not just a conspiracy theory, but a serious fucking problem.
So this is 100% vital stuff that we as a community learn, understand, and propagate.
Thank you for saying that.
Oh hey, I'm glad you replied. I've actually been researching filters (not all filters, even if they advertise it, successfully remove fluoride - like some that say they do, it's only like 10% or something) and I found this site - so to your original question you may find this site very useful!

(I just ordered a ZeroWater 5-stage 32-cup countertop one based on the review here*. Basically does filter fluoride, has shorter filter life than their preferred one - Epic Pure OSLT IIRC - but is also about half the price and so are filters.)
*Edit - not of the same product btw, but one using the same 5-stage filter.
Omg thank you! I tested our water and it’s not great. I’ve been looking at affordable filters but haven’t gotten far yet.
From what I have been able to reduce things to, the ZeroWater seems to be the cheapest filter that actually filters fluoride, with the caveat of more frequent (though at half the price point) filter replacements.
(I am not ready for plumbing modifications/faucet filters etc so I can't comment on that side of things. I've just looked at pitcher/countertop styles. Note the Berkey is NOT recommended by this guy btw. Look for the review for why, basically their filtration method puts Al into the water IIRC.)
I have many zero water filters and am very pleased...especially because it has a tester...you don't have to guess...
Yeah the only thing I've noticed is when mounting the tester on the spigot it apparently doesn't make great contact and isn't reliable there, but since filters are lasting about 15 days I just test when it's getting close.
What I HAVE noticed is when they go, they go fast, you don't get like a gradual rise but more like 001 for a day or so, then 006 then next day, then 030, then 100 or similar.
