I just got back from seeing SoF in an AMC theater. They had 5 showings today, three were sold out. The showing we went to was about 75% full. AC was working fine.
I have two AMC theaters within 5 miles from me one was sold out today all showings, so I went to the other and it was about 70% filled at 4pm. Insidious was showing at the same time and only had 13 ppl walk out at the end.
If I was the CEO I would fund and actively promote movies such as Sound of Freedom for play in their own theaters. Satanic Hollywood is turning out garbage and losing money. Such a strategy could really insulate AMC from the self emulation from Hollywood that will ultimately take AMC down. I’m going to see it tomorrow and can’t wait. I also can’t wait for Sound of Freedom ll about the military tribunal’s and wood chippers.
I went to a Regal theatre in NC tonight and I felt the difference in temperature right away. I thought nothing of it because I did have to park very far away and ran in to make the showing on time. My girlfriend packed a hoodie to keep her hair off of the nasty cloth seats and just in case it gets too chilly after sitting still for 2 hours.
She never put on the hoodie and even complained of it being too hot. I normally lay my hand on her thigh but she moved it several times because it was too hot. We had people sitting around us also whispering that it was too hot.
If we didn't check TGA and see this post we would have thought nothing more of it!
I did notice that the two seats to our left were booked while I was buying the tickets online but no one was actually seating in those seats. Maybe someone paid it forward on the Angel Studios website?
Went to Malco theater in Arkansas yesterday at 4pm and the movie was packed full only a couple seats up front in eye burn section. Packed more than any other movie I've seen in last few yrs and we go alot
