No one is a good person, and only those who follow God's will in all things come close.

Luckily, following His will often means helping others.

But I do agree that in some circles I sense exactly what you describe. A cold, callous, uncaring type who would rather ignore everyone but themselves and help no one. They pay lip service to God and don't do anything He says. They don't really care.
