We got the worst seats in the theatre only because the group in front of us was 7 people. The theatre is running 10 showings daily since it opened, and they are all almost completely sold out. Several groups that couldn't get seats together bought tickets for later showings. There are several theaters nearby that are showing multiple times daily. During the movie the crowd was so quit you could have heard a pin drop. Great movie, be sure to see it and tell your friends.

And this is happening in the second weekend? If so, that is VERY encouraging and could mean that even more people are coming out to see it as each week passes!
I believe it will gain more traction as time goes by. There was very little marketing for the movie, so word of mouth is going to be a snowball effect. Also, the "Pay It Forward" campaign will become more publicly known. People who can't afford to see the movie or are just on a tight budget have tickets available at no cost to them. I have seen that there have been over 3 million tickets purchased as gifts to others. The original goal was to have 2 million tickets purchased as "Pat It Foward" and this will only grow as more people see the movie.
People can buy tickets here as well as claim "Pay It Forward" tickets. https://www.angel.com/pay-it-forward/sound-of-freedom?utm_campaign=sound-of-freedom-theatrical&utm_medium=web&utm_source=tickets-footer-ad#
