When doing one’s own research, is it okay to ask the anons for opinions or facts? Or is that not doing own research?

Believe or not I got scolded by a mod for this exact thing. I asked a question instead of trusting google and I got told I need to carry my own weight and do my own research. Was kinda offended by the dudes pride.

Brother I don't think they meant that comment in a prideful way. They simply were saying do your own research. Asking anons is fine however we also must learn to dig ourselves. Anons can help guide but we must come to truth ourselves
